I have actually read TWO books in the past 8 days; the first was, Living in the Balance of Grace and Faith, by Andrew Wommack and the second was Unmerited Favor by Joseph Prince. Both are wonderful books on Grace and Faith and I highly recommend them. Personally, I like Prince's book better. To me it's more where my walk is and I pretty much agreed 100% with what he said. I can't say that I agreed as much with Wommack's book, but his chapter on the "sovereignty of God" really blew me away. It talks about the tension between the Calvanists and the Armenians. You can google this or you can read his book. There were two places that I really disagreed with him and that was on "feelings" and on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I won't get into this, but I see another side. I wonder how Wommack feels about the Bliss/Ecstatic movements that are underfoot. Also he said very little about our Oneness in Christ. To be totally fair, Prince only touched on the Oneness issue towards the end of his book. I'm going to reread both books with my pen and highlighter. They are that good!!
I am a "Word of Faith" guy and a "johnny come lately" to the Grace preaching and I'm no theologian, so be kind in your comments! ;-p
